ABOUT THE BRAND

Hand-Tied Jigs, Built for the Strike

Jumping Jig is a premium artisan brand crafting hand-tied saltwater Flair Hawks for elite inshore and nearshore anglers.

Jumping Jig was founded by Adrian Rodriguez, a lifelong saltwater angler who grew up fishing the inlets, bridges, and flats of the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. After years of watching mass-produced jigs fail under the pressure of trophy-class snook and tarpon, Adrian began hand-tying his own Flair Hawks from his workshop — each one tension-wrapped, epoxy-sealed, and rigged with heavy-duty saltwater hooks that could survive violent strikes, abrasive mouth plates, and the brutal current of a running tide.

The brand exists for a specific kind of angler: the one who studies tides and moon phases, who casts into the shadow line of a bridge at dusk, who knows that the difference between a trophy and a missed fish often comes down to one clean presentation. Jumping Jig builds tackle for that moment. Every jig is designed to track true in fast-moving water, displace enough water to trigger a predatory response, and hold up when a thirty-pound tarpon cartwheels at boatside.

Every Flair Hawk is hand-tied in Adrian's workshop, not mass-produced on an assembly line. Heads are poured, painted, and epoxy-sealed one at a time. Skirts are layered from premium synthetic hair and flash materials to create the breathing, pulsing profile that makes a Flair Hawk irresistible to apex predators. Hooks are selected individually, matched to the jig's weight and intended target species, and tested for sharpness and tensile strength before they ever leave the bench.

Jumping Jig is more than a lure company — it is a commitment to the craft of inshore saltwater fishing. Whether you are chasing snook in the surf, tarpon in the passes, or redfish on the flats, these jigs are built to give you confidence on every cast. Hand-tied, field-tested, and made to survive the strike.
